DescriptionHerbaceous perennial with a single flower about 1 inch wide on each stem. Flowers are often pinkish on the lower surface. The plant dies back by midsummer.
LeavesStems have a single whorl of 3 stalked leaves with 3-5 five leaflets each. The margins of the leaflets are coarsely serrate or sometimes deeply cleft.
