Diagnosis: Understory palm to 1 m tall, leaves simple with deeply forked tip or divided into 2-3 leafelts per side, all in a plane, the margin doubly toothed, and with conspicuous small holes along the midvein.

Diversity: 1 species (Reinhardtia gracilis).

Comments: An attractive little palm that tolerates shade, and therefore, serves as a popular ornamental.
