Male identification:

  • Eyes red, thorax metallic.
  • Dorsum of S3-7 black, S8 blue on basal third, S9-10 all blue.
  • Postocular spots large and blue.

Female identification:

  • A thick black stripe on metapleural suture.
  • Postocular spots large and blue.

Male abdomen length: 31.0

Male hind wing length: 24.0

Female abdomen length: 27.0

Female hind wing length: 22.0

Local distribution: Eastern lowlands to 600 m.

Habitat: Sunny areas along rocky streams.

Abundance: Uncommon.
