Female identification:

  • A pair of large tan spots on labrum, base of first antennal segment tan.
  • Hind lobe of pronotum in lateral view with lateral lobes upturned showing underside.
  • Fine tan antehumeral stripe.
  • Dorsal and dorso-lateral spines present on S10.

Female abdomen length: 28.0

Female hind wing length: 25.0

Local distribution: Eastern slope from 400 to 600 m.

Habitat: Small rocky and sandy streams.

Abundance: Rare.

Species range: Ecuador and Peru
