Male identification:

  • Top of thorax with a single antehumeral stripe and no posterior spot.
  • Side with three thick complete stripes.

Size: Small

Body length: 32.0-34.0

Local distribution: Pacific slope at about 500 - 600 m; Atlantic slope at 850 m.

Habitat: Small rocky streams and rivers.

Species range in Middle America: Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, South America
