Male identification:

  • Top of thorax with a longitudinal line and also a posterior spot.
  • Three complete lateral stripes.
  • Stigma elongate - more than half the distance from the node to the stigma.

Female identification:

  • Pattern similar to male.
  • Cerci dark gray with white tips.

Size: Small

Body length: 33.0-35.0

Local distribution: Both slopes at 400 - 700 m.

Habitat: Streams and small rivers.

Species range in Middle America: Mexico, Costa Rica
