Male identification:

  • Top of thorax with one antehumeral stripe and no posterior spot, side with two pale stripes, the middle stripe absent.
  • Cerci with posterior half pale.

Female identification:

  • Similar to male.

Size: Small

Body length: 32.0-38.0

Local distribution: Atlantic slope at 600 - 1300 m; Pacific slope at 200 - 700 m.

Habitat: Small forested streams.

Species range in Middle America: Mexico, Costa Rica to Panama, South America
