Male identification:

  • Two complete stripes on mesepisternum; three complete stripes on side of thorax; upper appendage with a very long basal ventral spine, almost no opening between lobes of lower appendage.

Size: Very large

Body length: 67.0

Local distribution: Atlantic slope at 400 - 600 m.

Habitat: Slow-flowing streams in forest.

Species range in Middle America: Costa Rica
