Male identification:

  • Frons with a prominent blue-green line.
  • Top of thorax with one longitudinal stripe and a posterior spot.
  • Upper appendage without a dorsal subapical tooth, apex sharply down-curved and hairy.
  • Abdomen with a distinct club.

Female identification:

  • Top of thorax with one longitudinal stripe and a posterior spot.

Size: Medium

Body length: 44.0-46.0

Local distribution: Both slopes at 1200 - 1600 m.

Habitat: Small rocky streams in forest.

Species range in Middle America: Guatemala, Costa Rica
