Male identification:

  • Top of thorax with one longitudinal line and a posterior spot.
  • Abdomen unmarked except for cream patch on S7.
  • Upper appendage with apical tip curled under.
  • Lower appendage longer than upper and with two apical teeth.

Size: Large

Body length: 49.0

Local distribution: Pacific lowlands to 400 m.

Habitat: Spring seeps in forest.

Species range in Middle America: Costa Rica
