  • Pale colors purple.
  • Hindwing with 4 antenodal cells.
  • Inner lobe of upper appendage long and straight.

Female identification:

  • Four antenodal cells in hindwing.

Size: Medium

Body length: 34.0-39.0

Local distribution: Atlantic slope from lowlands to 700 m; Pacific slope at 400 - 700 m.

Habitat: Small streams in forest.

Species range in Middle America: Mexico, Guatemala to Panama
