  • Dorsum of S1 with a posterior blue band.
  • Dorsal projection on S10 high and pointed.
  • Antehumeral stripe blue.
  • Pale markings on S1-2 blue.

Female identification:

  • Dorsum of S1 with a posterior blue band.

Size: Small

Body length: 29.0-33.0

Local distribution: Both slopes from 50 - 700 m.

Habitat: Spring seeps, small streams, and isolated marshy ponds in sunny areas.

Species range in Middle America: Honduras to Panama, South America
