  • Lower appendage very short.
  • Large.

Female identification:

  • Large.
  • Stigma present.
  • Thoracic stripes metallic green with some red reflectance.

Local distribution: Atlantic slope at 1100 - 1600 m; Pacific slope at 1100 - 1600 m.

Habitat: Small to medium clear streams in forest.
