Abundance
  Sexes similar, but female with more extensive black.
  Forewing black with orange at base; central and subapical rows of large orange-cream spots.
  Hindwing dull orange with broad black border; black veins and rays between veins.
  Paired marginal white spots only on underside.

Local distribution: 55 mm
