Species range: Mexico to Venezuela
Comments: This species is much less common in our region than Actinote leucomelas, but passes through Monteverde during its eastward migration. Its most similar model, Eueides vibilia, is even rarer in our area. The flight is slow with alternating flapping and gliding, usually in open areas. We have found early stages at about 900 m in the San Luis valley.
