Wingspan: 48-50 mm




Identification: Small, antennae black, forewing pattern of smoky shadows- not black, hindwing disc translucent orange-brown, dorsal hindwing without marginal spots.

Local distribution: Most common on upper Pacific slope at 1300-1500 m; occasional on Atlantic slope from 700-1200 m (rarely down to 250 m).
