Wingspan: 50-54 mm




Identification: Forewing with rear margin mostly orange, post discal band of forewing cream yellow, no bar or spot in forewing discal cell.

Local distribution: In Costa Rica known from the El Rodeo reserve west of San Jos at about 800 m elevation.

Species range: Costa Rica and Panama

Abundance: Not yet recorded

Early stages: Unknown

Larval food plants
  Unknown

Comments: A similar habitat to that where P. donata is found in the Central Valley also occurs in the rain shadow west of Monteverde.
