Identification: Small, antennae black, marginal white spots on forewing and hindwing, few large spots on forewing.

Local distribution: Widespread on both slopes, but not reaching the lowland dry forest on the Pacific side, and not resident in the cloud forest.

Species range: Mexico to South America

Abundance: Uncommon

Comments: Found in both mature forest and secondary areas.
