Identification: Small, many small yellow spots on forewing, two rows of yellow spots on hindwing, antennae yellow-tipped.

Local distribution: Atlantic slope at 400-900 m.

Species range: Costa Rica to South America

Abundance: Rare

Comments: Eresia sticta and Eresia poecilina, thought to be Batesian mimics, are very similar in appearance .
