DescriptionA tree-like clubmoss with an erect stem produced on a rhizome that is 6 ? 8 inches below the surface. The upright stem branches several times, the fan-shaped branches are turned upward and are covered with small blue-green leaves, with a whitish waxy coat. The 2-6 cones are produced on long stalks branches. The color and more erect fan shaped branches distinguish it from D. digitatum.
